  • 6ounces beer
  • 5eggs
  • 1cup milk
  • 2 12cups flour
  • 8ounces coconut
  • 12teaspoon salt
  • 1 -2teaspoon sugar
  • 12teaspoon baking powder
  • 15 -20large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • oil (for frying)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix beer, egg, milk, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Dredge shrimp in batter mixture then redip a second time. Roll in coconut then let rest about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil and deep fry until golden.
