Totally wanted to do internet-classic styled steampunk-y nails, where you throw some gears on and call it good.
I was pleased with the result. Like any super fab ridic nail extensions, they would not be good for anything useful.
I did these nails (they’re plastic temp tips) for a contest for Illamasqua, but then I got the end date of the contest wrong (damn you international time zones!) so didn’t get to enter them. The theme of the contest was "Alter Ego" and, since I have to keep my nails short for warehouse work, so my "Alter" was doing long tips that would catch on everything.

Accidentally got a "Japanwork" look to these. It was a joy to work on tips, off of my hands, instead of trying to do neat strokes on natural nails.
