How to Make Your Own (Healthier) Snickers Bars

Another day, another TikTok recipe that looks delicious. This time, though, it’s got a health bent.

Banana Snickers are going viral on the platform, and while the dessert is exactly what it sounds like—a faux Snickers with a healthier, banana base—that doesn’t make them look any less delicious.

To make the healthier version of the classic candy bar, you first peel a banana, cut it in half through the center, and then slice it down the middle to form two halves. Next, take some peanut butter and spread it over the center of each piece.

Melt down some chocolate—most recipes call for dark chocolate, as it has more health benefits—and then drizzle it over top. Finally, add some crushed peanuts, chill it, and then you’ve got a delicious, healthy snack.

There’s no clear progenitor of this recipe on TikTok, but that hasn’t stopped it from growing in popularity. Some videos, like the one below from @wholesomehedonista, have upwards of 3 million views, while the hashtag #bananasnickers has a whopping 5.1 million.
