Dunkin’ Has Teamed up with a Candy Company to Make Cocoa Bombs

Hot cocoa spills from a cocoa bomb and is surrounded by a mug and mix.

Dunkin’ is taking festive offerings a step further this year. While yes, their seasonal drinks sound delicious, hot chocolate lovers are about to be very happy.

Dunkin is teaming up with candy brand Frankford Candy to launch a range of hot cocoa bombs, and they look delicious.

The collaboration will see two of the doughnut and coffee purveyor’s most popular hot chocolate flavors available in your local candy aisle: original hot cocoa and mint hot cocoa. Both bombs feature milk chocolate shells, but the mint chocolate bomb has, duh, a mint flavor added in as well. Inside the bombs, customers will find mini marshmallows, and to craft the drink, simply pour six ounces of hot milk over the ball and watch those marshmallows spill out.

The bombs can be purchased as individuals for $3.99 at Big Lots, H-E-B, Ross Dress for Less, and Christmas Tree Shops and That! as well as at Amazon and the Frankford Candy website. There is an online exclusive, though. When you shop the bombs at Amazon or Frankford Candy, you’ll be able to snag them in 12-count packs for $55.

While not available quite yet, according to a Dunkin press release, they are slated to drop this month.

in the meantime, though, you can always make your own with these fun DIY recipes.
